Porcelain Lidded Jar with Handle

Inspired by traditional Ethiopian cooking pots (see inspiration photo of the black traditional pot), this handmade lidded ceramic jar can be a functional or decorative piece, designed to live openly on a countertop, shelf, or table as part of your everyday home decor.

This piece is handcrafted from porcelain clay, the interior of the body, the lid, and the handle are glazed in a glossy green celadon glaze, with the exterior left unglazed to highlight the natural texture and speckling on the clay body, with flashes of pink and orange hues as a result of the wood firing where flame and ash uniquely mark each piece.

Food safe and versatile, it can be used to store candies, serve soup, or, as a purely decorative piece for a perfect pop of pink and green. Whatever function it serves in your home, even if purely decorative, it'll certainly be a conversation starter when you're hosting.

For the sake of longevity, I recommend only handwashing this piece.
